Twitter says it’s rolling out a new feature called “Bookmarks” to make it easier to save or bookmark tweets that you want to return to in the future. Essentially, this would be helpful for articles, features, or videos that you stumble upon but don’t have the time to immediately go through them.
So, instead of having to “like” the tweet in question or even text it to yourself, you can now “bookmark” it in its own separate area on the Twitter app. The social media platform has been testing the feature which it called Save For Later since October last year
This new “bookmark” feature will be getting a button at the bottom of every tweet, on the right-hand side next to the “retweet” and “like” buttons. Thus, when you decide to add a tweet to this “bookmark” section, you can then click on and view your entire history on your homepage. And, of course, you can choose to remove tweets from “bookmarks” at any time.

In a press release, Twitter explained that users have been requesting something along the “bookmark” lines for quite some time. “By working this way, we learned that you like to save replies so you can answer later and that you may share tweet hours or days later after you’ve bookmarked it. Thank you for being part of this process — your feedback was valuable in building this update, and it made it all the more fun for us as we built a new feature for you. As a result, we all have an easier way to save, share, and stay informed.”
