What will you do on your last day of work? ? Well, a Twitter employee did what Twitter has refused to do for months which is to deactivate the Twitter account of President Donald Trump-@realdonaldtrump. The action was clearly deliberate. The account was down for 11 minutes.
This led to speculation that Twitter has finally suspended @realdonaldtrump. On Twitter’s part, they initially said the account had been inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee.
In a statement, Twitter tweeted: “The account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.”

Soon after, Twitter released another statement confirming that the deactivation was due to an employee’s action on their final day in the job.
“Through our investigation, we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review,” the new statement said.

And Twitter users have praised the employee while encouraging the social network to make it permanent.

No need to investigate the matter. Can you make it happen again? For the sake of humanity, leave the acct. down!

There have been continuing calls for Twitter to suspend Trump’s account. However, it has refused to suspend the account. For now, the romantic love between Twitter and Trump continues.
Expectedly, Donald Trump has responded to the deliberate deactivation of his Twitter account describing the worker as a rogue employee.
