Twitter has restored the account of #BBOG co-founder, Aisha Yesufu after tendering an apology.

Aisha’s Twitter account was frozen for some hours thereby making it impossible for her to use her account.

Aisha shared a photo of the apology letter from support@twitter.com. See the image below. According to Twitter, Aisha’s Twitter account was erroneously flagged as a spam Twitter account. It said “This can happen if an account exhibits automated behaviour in violation of rules. We apologise for the mixup and hope to see back on Twitter soon.”

Thank you everyone for your voices. I have gotten a mail from @Twitter and I am back. I will continue to be a voice. My voice is not for myself alone but for so many others who unfortunately did not get that education that so many of us take for granted to have a voice.
    THANK YOU pic.twitter.com/uZ4g8TXZul
