Twinpine, Africa’s premium mobile marketing company is celebrating its 5th year of operations. The company was founded with a vision to help brand and businesses get more value from the primary channel that connects Africans to the world – Mobile.

Officially launched on the 1st of August 2011, a team of under-30 entrepreneurs set out to fulfil the vision of making Twinpine the premium mobile advertising platform of choice.

Speaking on the milestone, Twinpine co-founder Oduntan Odubanjo said that Twinpine has evolved with the fast changing mobile technology space to grow from a mobile advertising network to become a mobile monetization and intelligence platform.

“While we started out educating brands on the benefits of mobile marketing, building mobile sites for publishers and serving banner ads on them, today, we help publishers and content providers earn more revenue with innovative advertising and payments solutions whilst helping businesses unlock more value from mobile with big data.” he said.

Sharing his remarks on this achievement, Twinpine CTO, Deji Balogun said “We are proud that Twinpine has been instrumental to the mobile transition of several publishers and brands on the African continent. This leadership is set to continue as we invest in more intelligent and automated mobile marketing products and services tailored for Africa.”

To celebrate its anniversary, Twinpine, has unveiled its new rich media ad formats, a data rich programmatic bidding platform and a mobile trends reports highlighting the Nigerian mobile space over its five years in operation.
