The CES 2016 has come and gone. It was indeed packed with a lot of exciting gadgets ranging from robots, laptops and many more.
Here are the top seven products that I fancied from the event.
1. Even though there were many robots at the CES 2016 but my number one gadget is undoubtedly the Segway Robot. It reminds me of something out of a Transformers movie. It transforms from a motorised scooter to a personal assistant complete with arms.
This contraption was developed by Chinese company Ninebot, assisted by Intel and Xiaomi. Check out our story on this beautiful gadget.
2. My second gadget is the Alcatel CareTime.
It is the Child-friendly watch for Children. This 2G Connected Kids’ Watch is aimed to give Parents’ Peace of Mind. Designed for children from 5 to 9 years old, CareTime is rated IP65, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets.Read more about it here.
3. The third is also a wearable and is called the Fitbit Blaze. It is a smart fitness watch, Fitbit’s smartest, most stylish, most motivating fitness tracker yet.
This $200 gadget is a smart fitness watch built to help you make the most of your workouts, with a versatile design to fit your personal style, and the smart notifications that matter most – all in one sleek timepiece that fits seamlessly into your life. 4. It might just be thinner than Apple Macbook but the LG Gram 15, is possibly the world’s lightest 15-inch laptop. At 2.16 pounds, it’s lighter than Apple’s new MacBook Pro — the 15″ version of which weighs 4.4 pounds.
The Gram 15 is 0.6 inches thin and its 15-inch screen comes with full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and IPS technology for wide viewing angles. Sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors power Windows 10. According to LG, battery life on the Gram 15 is up to seven hours.
5. The next is the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator. This Refrigerator transforms your kitchen with a Wi-Fi-enabled 21.5-inch LCD HD touchscreen that lets you connect with your family, manage your food, and enjoy entertainment. Want to know more, check out the video below.

6. A drone must definitely make this list and it is the Yuneec Typhoon H drone. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich says “This is the world’s first truly intelligent consumer drone,”
The Typhoon H has a retractable landing gear and a camera which can go a full 360 degrees. It has six rotors instead of four and is expected to retail for $1,799. It has basic sense and avoid technology on board, using “ultrasonic proximity detection” to automatically dodge large obstacles.
7. The final one coincidentally won the Best of the Best Awards at the CES 2016. It is the Chevy Bolt EV. With an estimated more than 200 miles of range on a single charge†, the Bolt EV redefines exclusive efficiency. Check out the video about the car below.
