Tiktok And Mercedes-Benz Team Up to Bring the Tiktok Experience into The Mercedes-Benz E-Class
TikTok has teamed up with Mercedes-Benz to bring the TikTok experience inside the newly announced interior of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The update was made known at the Strategy Update: Mercedes-Benz Operating System event and will see the E-Class have TikTok integrated into it.
David Saidden, Director of Distribution Business Development, TikTok said, “With our mobile app, we bring people little moments of joy throughout their day. As we aim to expand that experience for our users, we’re excited to partner with Mercedes-Benz to introduce immersive in-car entertainment, which will give our community more opportunities to enjoy the content they love.”
TikTok also disclosed that it is prioritizing safety in its partnership with Mercedes-Benz as it is at the centre of all its initiatives. The company also said that through advanced technology, Mercedes-Benz will ensure that its community safely enjoys this offering and noted that when the vehicle is in motion, image transmission is not activated and usage of all entertainment apps is restricted on the center display.
TikTok will be available for download directly from the touch-activated home screen. People can then opt to browse as a guest without logging in or opt to login into their TikTok account to receive their tailored For You feed. Specifically designed and configured for E-Class vehicles, users can comment, like and enable auto-scrolling for a more leaned-back experience.
“From movie theatres to airplanes to billboards, we are excited to offer people new and exciting ways to experience the entertainment, joy and creativity of TikTok. This collaboration with Mercedes-Benz is an important step forward in our mission to bring the TikTok experience to new screens, venues and audiences,” TikTok added.
