Members of the SERVICOM Nodal Committee at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) are presently developing a performance measurement framework for improved performance and efficiency of service delivery at a workshop designed for that purpose at Mararaba in Nasarawa State.
At the five-day workshop which started on July 1, 2019, the Commission is re-dedicating and renewing its commitment to improved and effective service delivery in the regulation of the telecommunications sector Nigeria. SERVICOM, an acronym for SERVICE COMPACT WITH ALL NIGERIANS is a service contract oriented in an articulated charter instituted by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2004 restate the obligation of public servants to deliver impeccable service.
Director, Public Affairs at NCC, Dr. Henry Nkemadu, in presentation to the forum affirmed that ‘’it is the right of Nigerians to be served, and the NCC considers the workshop organized by the SERVICOM institute pertinent in empowering NCC staff with the requisite knowledge needed to address telecoms service delivery complaints and concerns of our stakeholders in served, underserved and unserved areas of the country”.
Nkemadu also encouraged all participants to actively discuss and review the various modules that form the bedrock of the training to prioritize knowledge and expertise that will add value towards the improvement of work processes at the Commission.
