Before the release of the new Cyberquad for kids, Tesla CEO Elon Musk debuted the all-electric Cybertruck back in November 2019. At the Tesla Cybertruck event which took place in Los Angeles, a rider climbed a ramp into the bed of a cybertruck. And although it was a memorable occasion, nothing was spoken about it afterwards.
Tesla has gone ahead to produce a child-sized version of the so-called “Cyberquad for kids” for children aged 8 and above. This new ATV for kids from Tesla is a welcome addition to the Tesla lineup.
Most Tesla goods don’t ship until months after they are announced; however, this one will come in this December and cost $1900. In fact, the Cyberquad for kids is one of the few products that is based on the original Cybertruck.
A stainless steel whistle designed to look like the exterior of Tesla’s electric pickup truck, which will be available for purchase next year, was unveiled earlier this week by the electric vehicle manufacturer. The Tesla online shop now lists the whistle as out of stock.
The Cyberquad for kids is a four-wheeled electric ATV. It’s easy to tell where the design inspiration came from just by looking at the sharp angles. Cushioned seats and an adjustable suspension with a brake system at the back are standard on this all-terrain vehicle. Front and rear LED light bars, as well as a hood scoop, complete the look of the Tesla.
Despite the fact that the ATV is intended for children, Tesla claims that it is suitable for anyone aged 8 and above and weighing no more than 150 lbs (68 kg). When Franz von Holzhausen (@woodhaus2), the Chief Designer at Tesla (@woodhaus2) rides the Cyberquad, it reaffirms that adults who meet the user requirements are also permitted to do so.
A switch at the back of the Cyberquad for kids allows you to adjust the maximum speed to five miles per hour, ten miles per hour, and five miles per hour for reverse. This is very useful for inexperienced and younger riders. A lithium-ion 36V battery powers the ATV and gives it a 15-mile range. According to Tesla, the range might vary depending on the weight of the person, the terrain, and the speed. In the box, you’ll find a charger that will recharge a totally depleted battery in 5 hours or less.
Even though Tesla says it would begin selling the Cyberquad for kids in 2–4 weeks, it also states that orders are not guaranteed to arrive in time for the holidays. The Tesla Cyberquad for kids, on the other hand, should be available for purchase well before the Cybertruck and the 2-person Cyberquad, which will be offered as an option for the pick-up truck, respectively.
