The Seedstars train will be stopping in Lagos, Nigeria on the 25th of August 2017 and these are the ten startups selected to pitch at this event.
They are as follows:
- DropQue – a recruitment platform
- Edves – an edtech startup that provides a platform that encompasses all school management needs.
- eWorker – an outsourcing platform that connects companies with talented and vetted developers in Africa.
- GetJama – a data collection startup
- Irecycle – an online social market place for Nigerians to sell their reusable and recyclable waste
- Medsaf – an e-health stratup that is making the process of buying and selling medication in Nigeria’s complex health system easy and efficient
- Parcel-it – a dispatch booking/scheduling app for fast, reliable and affordable deliveries.
- Safi.ng – on-demand dry cleaning service
- Wallet.ng – a fintech startup
- Wesabi – a professional services startup
The winning startup will join the global Seedstars Family and take part in the regional and global Seedstars Summits that include our tried and tested bootcamp and investor forum. The startup will also have the chance to secure US$500,000 in equity investment, as well as other prizes.
The jury consists of Lexi Novitske from Singularity Investments, Ashley Lewis of Accion Venture Lab, Olawale Anifowose of Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), Wale Ayeni of IFC Venture Capital, and Tunde Akinnuwa the country manager of Seedstars.
