Temu Links Up with Dellyman to Turbo-Charge Deliveries in Nigeria

Temu is accelerating its expansion in Nigeria with a major logistics partnership designed to drastically improve delivery speed and strengthen customer trust across the country. The fast-growing e-commerce giant has linked up with Dellyman, a Lagos-based logistics company, to support large-scale, nationwide operations and reduce the long delivery times that have historically frustrated Nigerian online shoppers. The partnership has been cleverly thought of to enhance reliability in Nigeria’s cross-border e-commerce market, where logistics challenges often determine which platforms customers return to.

This partnership has pushed Temu deeper into Nigeria’s fast-growing e-commerce sector, competing against players like Jumia and other emerging platforms. Through the agreement, Temu customers in Nigeria can expect faster and more predictable delivery times, giving the brand a stronger presence in a market where trust and delivery reliability greatly affect consumer behavior. For Temu, the collaboration is essential not just for increasing customer happiness but also for promoting long-term sustainability, facilitating larger order volumes, and quickening its expansion plan.

To validate the affiliation, the firms ran a pilot test in which Dellyman achieved a 95% delivery success rate – a performance that demonstrates its preparedness to meet Temu’s high-volume logistics demands at scale. With a model that includes rider management, real-time customer visibility, and delivery tracking capabilities that improve the entire shopping experience, Dellyman, which was founded in 2020, has established a reputation as a technology-driven logistics platform.

The collaboration is also a significant strategic advantage for Dellyman, putting the business in front of other foreign merchants that are interested in Nigeria’s rapidly expanding e-commerce market. Growing internet availability, smartphone use, mobile-first shopping culture, and growing demand in “Buy Now, Pay Later” alternatives are driving the Nigerian industry, which was estimated to be worth $8.53 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $14.92 billion by 2029. Businesses that can provide quick, dependable logistics will be essential in determining consumer expectations and platform loyalty as the industry grows.

Dellyman’s track record further strengthens its appropriateness as Temu’s logistics partner. The business has positioned itself as a one-stop shop for quick, dependable, and occasionally same-day delivery since its 2020 launch. Dellyman achieved a milestone of 10,000 monthly orders in November 2025 alone, which contributed to a total of over 300,000 successful deliveries across the country. Using a technology strategy akin to Uber’s, its logistics model unifies many delivery service providers into a single system, pairing consumers with riders who are closest to their pickup point. As Ojo-Bello previously said, “When you place an order, you tell us where you want the order to be picked from. Our app will search for riders in the vicinity of your pickup location.

By integrating Dellyman into its logistics network, Temu shows that it aims to compete fiercely and responsively in Nigeria. Faster deliveries, more reliability, and better customer experiences might fundamentally transform how Nigerians see cross-border e-commerce and provide Temu the competitive edge it needs to develop swiftly. The agreement represents a big stride forward not just for Temu but for the future of e-commerce logistics in Nigeria.
