Chinese phone maker, Tecno Mobile plans to launch a low-cost smartphone in 2015 and it will cost about $30, the equivalent of N5000.
Arif Choudhary, VP of Tecno Group, stated that: “Tecno Mobile has tried to bring budget smartphones and data phones to Africa. Every month in Nigeria, it can shift 1.3 million to 1.5 million devices.”
