The anticipated title from Nintendo which received an unprecedented amount of publicity from Apple, ‘Super Mario Run’, just made its official début to the iPhone on December 15, worldwide. The famous plumber who has been a traditional platform classic for 31 years has finally made its official jump from consoles to smartphones. With a fun proposal that promises to be as addictive as Pokémon Go, the augmented reality game that became a phenomenon in mid-year.
Super Mario Run is a lot like the classic Mario adventures, with an interesting difference: It is a side-scrolling, auto-runner platformer. And it’s really exciting to see how it translates to iOS. And of course you know it’s going to sell like hot cakes just cause it’s Mario.
The challenge lies in making the famous moustachioed jump and overcome various obstacles and enemies to reach the goal in the shortest time possible. On the screens floating currencies, which award points to the player appear.
