    Success Stories from Accomplished Entrepreneurs

By Staff Writer on March 7, 2018 Africa, Entrepreneurship

Being inspired can go a long way. It can give you the drive to get out there and become your own success, because someone just like you managed to achieve their dreams too. Be inspired, and learn. Learn what made your predecessors successful, learn where they made mistakes. Take what you learn and put it towards your future.

Being your own success means watching startups. It means knowing about the top global startup trends to watch out for in 2018, and how innovation and your instinct can create a disruptive business model that could help take the world by storm. However, being a global success is no easy task, but it can be done, just like these successful entrepreneurs can attest:

    Jason Njoku, iROKOTv

Njoku founded iROKOTv, the leading streaming service throughout Africa. He began initially in 2010 on YouTube, and since then has grown and started his own venture capital firm, iROKO Partners, who now seek the next up-and-coming startup. Rather than rest on your laurels, help invest into the future. Someone else will always come by with a better idea, and investing in that idea can help you shape the world.

    Adaora Mbelu-Dania, A2 Creative

Another Nigerian success story, Mbelu-Dania owns and manages the successful brand management company A2 Creative. Her most recent success was being the mind behind Guinness’ recent product launch in Nigeria, though her journey was not always quite so diverse. Precocious since childhood, she represented Nigeria at the Global Young Leaders Conference in New York City and in Austria at the Congressional Youth Leadership Conference. She is recognized worldwide for her achievements, and her business acumen is well-regarded. You are the power behind your brand. The more you do to improve yourself every day, the better your company will be as a result.

    Jean Bosco Nzeyimana, Habona

Nzeyimana has sat amongst some of the greatest minds of our time, but it is not the fact that he has met former President Obama or Mark Zuckerburg that makes him stand out, it is his commitment for the future. His company, Habona, transforms the waste in his community in Rwanda. His eco-friendly alternative to charcoal proves that a dedication to the environment and the future of our world can be just as profitable and any other endeavor. Save the world, help your community, and become a success.

    Madey Adeboye, Green Grill House

Helping the world become healthier is a worthy goal, and that is exactly how Adeboye has made her success. Offering healthy food options, her company caters and delivers throughout Nigeria. Her business model has been so successful that in a short two-year span her company, Green Grill House, went from a thought in her kitchen to business opportunities throughout Africa. A personal passion can become an international success.

    Conclusion

To become a success of your own, you must be driven. You must be inspired by those who came before you. Only when you follow the success stories of your contemporaries can you accurately predict and see where the missing gaps are in the market, and how you can fill it.
