Stars From All Nations (SFAN), an education company that unlocks the potential of the youth, has raised $250k pre-seed funding from King Solomon’s Capital, a Ghana-based funder. The funding will be utilised towards SFAN’s existing Readyforwork.africa career accelerator. In addition, it will be used to scale up the companies existing operations.

Industry analysis has shown that, on average, it takes university graduates in Africa six years to find their first jobs. But on the demand side, even when jobs are available, employers still struggle to find early career professionals that have the skills they need for such employment.

According to the World Bank, when you aggregate these challenges in monetary terms, it translates to a $130 billion market opportunity.

And SFAN is set to bring the needed fresh perspectives to the scene through their digital career accelerator that equips entry-level job seekers with requisite job readiness skills and helps employers find the brightest talents across the continent.

    ReadyforWork Africa Career Accelerator

Stars From All Nations aims to shed a fresh perspective on the existing job scene in Africa through its digital accelerator. The programme aims to equip entry-level job seekers with requisite job readiness skills and helps employers source the highest potential and brightest talent across Africa.

According to reports, on average it takes University graduates in Africa at least six-years to secure their first job. When jobs are available employers struggle to source early career professionals with suitable skills for the available positions.

With this in mind, SFAN’s programme aims to provide assistance to this existing gap in the market and empower young Africans to secure steady employment and opportunities.
