Nigerian Breweries Plc intends to make a statement with one of its beer brands – STAR. It is currently building what it hopes to be the tallest tree made entirely out of beer bottles. The current World Record of 1000 beer bottles is currently held by the Chinese in the city of Shanghai and STAR intends to break this record by building a tree with 8000 beer bottles.

Work has started on the tree and it is being built at the Eko Atlantic Bar Beach Stretch, Victoria Island, venue of the much anticipated Lagos Countdown 2014.
