Streaming service Spotify is down with many users around the world reporting that they have been logged of the music streaming service.

According to Down Detectors, as at 9am, 4585 users had sent in complaints about the service in the last 24 hours.

Many of the users said they were getting feedbacks that there was an issues with internet connectivity as they tried to log in.

Most of the issues appeared to be with people trying to use Spotify on a PC.

One said: “Not working on PC – internet connection error even though my internet is fine – error code 4.”

Another affected user added: “Signed me out and when I try and sign back in it says something went wrong.”

Twitter users were reaching out to others to see if they were also experiencing difficulties with Spotify.

One Twitter user said, “Is Spotify down or is it just for me? It won’t let me search songs,” adding a sad face emoji.

Another wrote: “The interesting thing with this whole Spotify being down thing is that I can still play the album I had paused from yesterday and the following artist radio that continues on after it.

    “Just can’t get anything else.”

Spotify Cares tweeted: “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out! We’ll keep you posted.”

They told one person who complained their account wasn’t working: “We’re sorry to hear that. Could you let us know the device, operating system, and Spotify version you’re using? We’ll see what we can suggest.”
