    Speakers announced for Connecting West Africa 2015

    Organisers of Connecting West Africa 2015 have announced confirmed speakers for this year’s edition of the annual conference scheduled to hold in Dakar, Senegal on 9 – 10 June 2015 at Radisson Blu Hotel.

    Information made available to Innovation Village revealed the theme of the forum is Broadband in West Africa: a great tool for growth or a headache to deploy and monetise?

    Organisers said Connecting West Africa 2015 is the forum to discuss how to make broadband work for all stakeholders, from the point view of technology, investment, commercial strategy, service innovation and regulation.

    Confirmed speakers include Asif Aziz, Group Marketing Director, Expresso Telecom Group; James Kanja Cobba, CTO, Ministry of Information & Communications of Sierra Leone; Wilgon Bethold Tsibo, Group CTO, Azur Telecom; Evans Yeboah, CEO, Discoverytel Ghana; and Louis Diakité, President, Alink Telecom.

    Others include Maxwell Dodd, Director, Airtel Business Solutions, Ghana; Abdoulaye Kanté, Associate Director, Link4Dev; Lansana Gagny Sakho, Director General, Office of Rural Drilling, Senegal; and Yahaya Zakaria Osman, Technical Director, Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications.
