In July of the previous year, Innovation Village reported that Plentify successfully closed an oversubscribed funding round, attracting investment from leading African and North American venture capitalists. One of the standout initiatives, Project Smart Geyser, received catalytic early-stage funding from the Energy and Environment Partnership Trust Fund (EEP Africa).
