Wang Sicong, son of Wang Jialin, a Chinese billionaire, bought his dog—’Coco’ eight iPhone 7 handsets just for the fun of it.
This was reported by CNN earlier today right after getting pictures from the dog’s verified Weibo account—yes, verified account. Weibo is China’s equivalent of Twitter, just in case you don’t know what it is.
Just to makes things clear, an iPhone 7 in China costs between 6,388 and 7,988 yuan which is equivalent to $956.98 and $1,196.68 USD. Meaning Sicong spent over $7,655 on phones just for his dog.
Although, this isn’t Sicong’s first time on spoiling Coco with such toys and also flaunting it.
Back in 2015, he attracted widespread outrage in China after posting photos of the dog wearing two Apple Watches with luxury bands worth over of $37,000, which is pretty much pocket change to a billionaire’s son since dad’s net worth is over $30 billion.
What a world we live in, where the rich indulge in unimaginable luxuries, while the poor starve but oh well, guess that’s one lucky dog.
From the look on Coco’s face, we don’t think the pup is quite impressed with the fact that the iPhone 7 doesn’t come with an earphone jack.
