Social Media Week kicked off for the very first time in Accra, Ghana yesterday, 11th of September. It launched at the Accra Mall with industry leaders, agency heads and many people in attendance. The theme of the week-long event is “ACCRA IS CONNECTED”

Yolanda Cuba, CEO of Vodafone Ghana CEO, used this opportunity to flag off the ‘Get 1000 Businesses online’ initiative which seeks to introduce 1000 informal businesses to social media.
