Snapchat has been experimenting with Bitmoji TV for select users in limited geographic regions.

The social media giant has finally completed testing this feature and has announced plans to roll it out globally in February 2020.

Bitmoji’s are personalized avatars that people often use as their profile picture across their social media.

In Bitmoji TV, the user’s personalized Bitmoji avatar will star in a cartoon series. Snapchat will develop content for this feature, which users will be able to access in the app’s Discover section.

Snapchat’s announcement read, “With Bitmoji TV, your avatar and those of your friends will appear in regularly-scheduled adventures ranging from playing the crew of Star-Treky spaceship to being secret agents to falling in love with robots or becoming zombies.”

Snapchat is also reportedly testing a new feature dubbed Cameo, which lets users superimpose other people’s faces over/alongside their own in videos and gifs.
