Smile, a major 4G LTE broadband internet service provider in Tanzania, specifically Dar es Salaam and Arusha, yesterday (Thursday) announced the launch of its “Win an iPad” promotion for March.
According to the company, 13 new Smile customers will win an Apple iPad in weekly draws.
Smile Head of Sales, Distribution and Marketing, Mr. Lawrence Ndibo, said to qualify for the promo, new customers should buy either a Smile Mi-Fi or Wi-Fi router from any of Smile’s shops and kiosks to stand a chance to win one of the 13 Apple iPad Minis.
“The offer would begin on March 1, and runs through to March 31, with weekly draws being held and supervised by the Gaming Board of Tanzania. The latest version of the Apple iPad Mini is compatible with 4G LTE broadband, and the giveaways come with free 5GB of data,” he said.
He added that the Apple iPads are supplied by iStore, the Apple-approved distributor in Tanzania.
Speaking further Ndibo said the promotion will be open to residents in Dar es Salaam and Arusha regions where Smile has coverage.
“Customers walking into any of the Smile shops and purchase any of our devices would be required to fill in a coupon which will be entered into the weekly draws,” he said.
