SmartBuy, one of Jordan’s leading electronics megastores, has entered a strategic partnership with Truecaller to modernize customer communication and strengthen trust across the retail experience. The collaboration will allow SmartBuy to use the Truecaller Customer Experience Solution Suite to provide verified, branded calls that give customers more clarity and confidence when engaging with the company.
With this integration, SmartBuy’s outgoing calls will display the retailer’s verified name, logo, and green checkmark, making interactions instantly recognizable. The branded calling solution also provides context before a call is answered — whether the interaction relates to order updates, deliveries, collections, or customer support — helping customers understand the purpose of each engagement.
SmartBuy says the partnership aligns with its goal of building more personal and reliable customer touchpoints, improving both communication clarity and service quality.
“At SmartBuy, we believe that innovation is not just about technology — it’s about creating smarter, more meaningful connections with our customers. Our partnership with Truecaller ensures that every customer interaction reflects the reliability and authenticity that define our brand,” said Mr. Sami Al-Sururi, Chairman of SmartBuy.
Truecaller also highlighted the importance of the partnership in strengthening communication standards in Jordan.
“We’re proud to join hands with SmartBuy in advancing trust and transparency across Jordan’s retail communication landscape. Together, we aim to set new standards for trusted communication in the Kingdom,” said Priyam Bose, Global Head of GTM & Developer Products at Truecaller.
SmartBuy, founded in 2007 as Jordan’s first electronics megastore, now operates five showrooms covering nearly 17,000 m² and employs more than 500 staff. The company also manages a strong distribution arm representing major global brands, solidifying its role in Jordan’s electronics retail sector.
The partnership signals a broader push toward technology-driven customer engagement in Jordan’s retail industry, as businesses adopt tools that improve security, transparency, and the overall service experience.
