Skype recently updated its Web version with a new feature that allows Skype users use the Web client to make calls to Landlines and mobile phones, instead of being limited to just calling other Skype users and this is definitely a welcome addition.
Now you don’t need to worry about using an app to make those international calls like we’ve been used to, but keep in mind that you’ll have to buy some credits or a subscription which’d enable you use the feature.
The web version also added a feature that allows you to invite anyone to join a call, even if they don’t have an account. This new addition is convenient for folks who use computers where they might be renting time on a computer but cant install apps such as Skype without administrator privileges.
Skypes update also lets users watch YouTube videos right in the conversation window without leaving the website, enables the option to share conversations with other people, and an addition of a new notification system that will allow you to see incoming calls and messages.
