Sim Shagaya, CEO of Konga.com will be part of a discussion on the breakfast morning show “Sunrise” on Channels tv(DSTV Channel 254) holding this Saturday March 7, 2014.

The discussion will be centered on how Nigeria can use the opportunity of hosting the World Economic Forum on Africa to attract investment and interest in information technology and e-commerce sectors in Africa

The 24th edition of the World Economic Forum on Africa (WEF) which is scheduled to hold for the first time in Nigeria between 7 – 9 May 2014 in Abuja will attract participants, including Heads of Governments and Statesmen, CEOs of global corporations, world-leading financiers, policy and development technocrats, from over 80 countries, which will provide Nigeria with an immense and unique opportunity for economic and cultural diplomacy.

Also expected on the breakfast show are other stakeholders in the Nigerian technological industry like Tayo Oviosu of Paga Tech and representatives from cable company Mainone

Ecommerce has grown to be one of the biggest contributors to the total share of information technology activities in Nigeria, and the importance of Konga and other operators would encourage further adoption by Nigerians.
