The National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) in pursuance of its mandates on promoting the development and commercialization of locally motivated technologies emanating from the Research Institutions and Private Laboratories in the country, is organizing Inventors and Innovators Techmart/Exhibition.
The objecvtives of this exhibition are as follows:
- Create awareness for Research and development (R&D) results and innovations from the Nigerian Knowledge System capable of developing the economy;
- Commercialize the research results to create and generate wealth and employment;
- Encourage the creation of SMEs;
- Provide information to Researchers and students;
- Encourage synergy between relevant stakeholders in the use of Nigerian Technology for economic development;
- Encourage the creation and transfer of technology based Intellectual Property Rights
