Logidoo, a fast-growing logistics and cross-border trade platform based in Senegal, has announced a major expansion of its operations with the launch of a new trade corridor linking Belgium to West Africa through Morocco. This strategic move extends the company’s existing Casablanca–Dakar route, creating a seamless logistics bridge between Europe, North Africa, and West Africa.
Founded in 2020 by Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, Logidoo has built a robust, end-to-end logistics solution that integrates players across both formal and informal sectors. Its platform covers the entire logistics value chain—from transportation and warehousing to cash management and last-mile delivery—ensuring comprehensive market reach and operational efficiency.
Operating in Senegal, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia, Logidoo has already made significant strides in transforming African logistics. The company has onboarded over 3,000 logistics providers, executed more than 100,000 operations, and served upwards of 400 clients, ranging from SMEs to large-scale distributors.
In 2023, Logidoo raised $1.5 million in funding to support its ambitious expansion strategy. Shortly after, it launched Afridoo, a digital tool designed to simplify online selling for African merchants and enhance their access to regional and international markets.
Now, through a newly formed partnership with a leading Belgian logistics operator, Logidoo is introducing a regular consolidation service that connects Belgium, Morocco, and several West African countries. This service is tailored to meet the needs of European manufacturers and e-commerce businesses seeking efficient, reliable access to African markets.
Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, CEO of Logidoo, stated:
The Belgium–Casablanca–Dakar corridor reflects our ambition to establish Morocco as a regional logistics hub, channeling and redistributing goods from Europe to West Africa.
This new corridor not only strengthens trade ties between Europe and Africa but also positions Logidoo as a key enabler of intra-African and intercontinental commerce. By bridging logistical gaps and streamlining cross-border operations, the company is playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of trade across the continent.
