A friend told me recently that Farming is the next big thing.
Information Technology used to be the “next big thing”, but it’s quite saturated now. And we know what’s happening in the Oil and Gas industry. The way forward is Mechanized Farming and the wealth generated by its Value Chain. The beauty of farming in Nigeria is we have arable land and a large population that will always need food, so there’s room for ev…eryone. And young people need to get involved. The glory of the youth is our strength, who better to spearhead this “next big thing” than us?

Join us at The Covenant Place Iganmu, By National Art Theatre this Saturday as we discuss SME OPPORTUNITIES IN NIGERIA’S AGRIBUSINESS VALUE CHAIN.

Our line up of speakers are:

    • AfricanFarmer Mogaji – CEO of X-Ray Farms Consulting and AF Marketing
    • Dimeji Owofemi – Founder, Vice Chairman & CEO, Multi –Trex Integrated Foods Plc
    • Dr Alfred Dixon (Dr Cassava) – Project Leader, Cassava Weed Management Project, IITA
    • Ada Osakwe – CEO, Agrolay Ventures and Former Senior Investment Adviser to Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, Nigeria’s former Federal Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

And an interesting story by a young lawyer turned Farmer.

    This Saturday, August 22, 2015
    Time: 9am
Venue: The Covenant Place Iganmu, By National Art Theatre.
