    Meet the nine startups for Seedstars Abidjan

    Seedstars World is coming to Abidjan for its inaugural event – Seedstars Abidjan. This is fresh from its event in Baku, Azerbaijan. Its last African stop was Accra, Ghana where Asoriba emerged the winner.

    On the 12th of August, the 9 best startups will be invited to pitch in front of local and international jury. The event is expected to be filled with disruptive tech, inspirational keynote, networking sessions. Who will emerge the winner of the flight ticket to Switzerland to compete for at least $1.5mn in investment?

    Here are the startups for the event:

    African Media Group: TV and VOD for Africa by African

    Airshop: Customers can pre-order things they actually want, pick them up when they travel, saving 20%.

    Barachic: BaraChic platform let merchants accept customers who want to spread out payments over time: be it microsavings or receiving assets on credit

    LIFI-LED Côte D’Ivoire: Imagine a world where communication costs nothing other than light, economical and ecological light, LED, producer of lifi. smart lighting

    Planete Sports: Planete Sports brings a new vision of sports content by creating an African chain of platforms supplying local sports by internet and mobile

    Sabicash: Mobile Apps and web plateform to solve problem of petty cash lacking during transactions and banking solution for non formal market

    Titrophone: is a broadcast service which shows newspaper headlines via SMS / voice or instant messaging to encourage readers to buy the newspapers

    Tounkaa.com is online marketplace dedicated to micro-services and jobs on internet in real time starting from 5 900 FCFA.

    Zoexpertiz, the number 1 place to discover Africa

    The jury for the event include Nnenna Nwakanma, africa Regional Co-ordinator for The World Wide Web Foundation; Christian Roland, Co-Founder ALPHA OMEGA SERVICES GROUPE; Florent Youzan, Co-Founder Afriworkers; Bacely Yorobi, Founder SocialSpot; Ezekiel Odiogo, Principal Investment Officer African Development Bank Group; and Sadamoudou Kaba, Head of Department Orange Fab Abidjan

    The event will take place at the Orange Technocentre, 2 plateaux Vallon, résidence Bertille, Abidjan.
