South Africa’s The Good People Data Company, a leading provider of digital workflow automation, verification processes, and compliance solutions, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding to fuel its growth. Founded in 2018, The Good People Data Company operates as a registered credit bureau, specializing in innovative solutions that streamline the onboarding processes for customers, employees, and suppliers while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Over the past six years, the company has established a strong reputation by collaborating with some of South Africa’s most prominent brands. It has also partnered with the Southern African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS) to combat fraud, money laundering, and impersonation crimes.
The recent funding comes from the REdimension Real Estate Technology and Sustainability Fund, which is advised by REdimension Capital. This fund is supported by strategic partners including Burstone Real Estate Partners, Growthpoint Properties, Rand Merchant Bank, Liberty Group, and Sphere Holdings, among others.
“The investment from REdimension represents a significant milestone for The Good People Data Company,” said JK du Toit, the startup’s CEO. “With their strategic expertise and resources, we are well-positioned to accelerate our growth, expand into new markets, and continue driving innovation in the verification, compliance, and workflow automation sectors. Together, we will redefine how African businesses navigate the challenges of a digital-first world.”
This funding will enable The Good People Data Company to enhance its service offerings, explore new market opportunities, and maintain its leadership in providing cutting-edge solutions for verification, compliance, and workflow automation in Africa.
