Samsung Unveils The Galaxy J2 With a Smart Glow Feature

Samsung just unveiled a new device, the Samsung Galaxy J2 in India with it’s new LED notification tech. This is the company’s take on a new generation of notification LED which is at the rear camera of the device.

The new smart glow feature allow users color-code their contacts, apps, and phone usage alerts. This helps users know which notifications they get without the need to interact with their device.

The Galaxy J2 specs aren’t that mind blowing but that’s obvious because this isn’t a flagship from company. It features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a Spreadtrum SC8830 quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, 8 MP/5 MP camera combo, LTE, 2,600 mAh battery and Android Marshmallow out of the box.

The device comes in black, silver or gold colours. Additional features like the S Bike mode, Ultra Data Saving mode and Turbo Speed Technology are available on this device, which is able to launch native apps 40% faster than devices with double the RAM.

For a $145, this device doesn’t look too shabby on paper but we’ll get to find out about its performance on daily usage. And as of this moment, we don’t know if this device will be hitting the Nigerian market anytime soon.
