Samsung to introduce 5 cool new technologies before 2015.

I guess your mind is running a rat race. Foldable devices means flexibility, portability and style. According to SammyHub.com, the first bendable phones will come in mid-2014, with foldable devices nearer the end of 2015.

They have started with their first curved smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy Round.

2. Wearable Devices

The Samsung Galaxy Gear is already in place for this. Other plans includes introducing google-glass like devices. Samsung has indicated interests in challenging the Google glass by filing a patent for a product that looks like it.

3. Better Software

Samsung presently has an OS called Tizen in place but is not willing to drop the most popular Android in its place. Their TouchWiz UI will definitely see better improvements.

4. Ultra HD Screens

Touchscreens with a higher than 1080p resolution are one of the next big things in mobile, with LG and Japan Display both already trumpeting the development of 2560 x 1440 pixel panels. The Samsung gurus are definitely not sleeping. Expect something mind blowing. 

They are looking at both that resolution and beyond, up to a massive 3840 x 2160 pixels. The first stage is for the 2560 x 1440 panels to arrive, and they may come in early 2014.

5. Custom 64 bit processors

The simple smartphone user might be wondering how this will affect usage but that tech freak that is out for gaming and top speed browsing looks at innate features like this. This is surely an encouragement for the latter. 

Moving beyond its Exynos chip range, Samsung could join Apple and Qualcomm in designing its own ARM-compatible chips from the ground up.

Samsung has been ‘conservative’ when it comes to buying other companies but they say that is the future.
