Samsung Set to Unveil Next-Gen Foldables and Galaxy AI at July 9 Unpacked Event

Samsung is gearing up for its third Unpacked event of 2025, scheduled for July 9 at 10 AM ET. The event will be broadcast live from Brooklyn, New York, and streamed globally via the Samsung Newsroom, the company’s official website, and its YouTube channel.

This mid-year Unpacked is expected to spotlight the next evolution of Galaxy AI and showcase new additions to the ever-expanding Galaxy ecosystem. As tradition holds, Samsung typically uses its summer Unpacked to debut its latest foldable devices—and this year appears to be no exception.

    What to Expect

Samsung has teased the event with the tagline “Ultra Unfolds,” strongly hinting at the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, along with a possible introduction of the much-rumored Galaxy Z Fold Ultra. The promotional imagery and teaser video accompanying the event invitation leave little doubt that foldables will take center stage.

In addition to foldables, Samsung is also expected to unveil:

    • A new Galaxy Watch, likely featuring upgraded health and fitness tracking capabilities.
    • The Galaxy S25 FE, a fan-favorite variant that’s been circulating in rumors and is anticipated to launch later this year.
    • A potential tri-fold phone prototype, which would mark a bold leap in foldable design innovation.
    • Updates or a reveal of the Android XR headset, developed in collaboration with Google, which is slated for release this year. This event could serve as the perfect platform for its official debut.

    Early Reservations and Incentives

For those already planning to upgrade, Samsung is offering an early reservation incentive. Starting tonight, customers can reserve one of the upcoming devices directly through Samsung’s website and receive a $50 credit toward their purchase.
