The 2018 Winter Olympics are just around the corner, starting on February 9th and running through the 25th. And just a week ago, Samsung produced more than 4,000 special edition Galaxy Note 8s to hand out to Olympics participants for FREE. Today, in anticipation of the upcoming games, Samsung has officially released the PyeongChang 2018 Official App in partnership with the Olympic Committee.

The 2018 Winter Olympics takes place in South Korea, so it’s fitting that the Korea-based Samsung created the app this year. The Olympic app’s primary purpose is to make it easy to find critical information including rankings, medal standings, athlete information, and real-time updates. The app also includes news on events once the games kick off and a few other extras like drone flyby videos, 3D maps, and a full schedule of events.

The Olympic app is available for both Android and iOS in Korean, English, French, Japanese, and Chinese. If you want to follow along with the games this year, you can find the official Olympics app in the Google Play link below.

The new app is available now for Android or iOS. You can download it from Google Play.
