Samsung, the South Korean tech giant, has launched its latest smartphone, the Galaxy A14, at its corporate headquarter in Lagos. The new device is designed to cater to the needs of consumers who want a device with high-end features at an affordable price.

The Galaxy A14 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch for the front-facing camera. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 on top.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy A14 boasts a triple-camera setup at the back, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the device has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy A14 also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Other features include 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

As far as Android phones go, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is without competition

The Galaxy A14 is available in Nigeria in light green, black and silver1 colours, and you can get either the 64GB or 128GB storage options at a recommended retail price of N116,900 and N126,900 respectively. Samsung Flex Pay allows you to own a Samsung A14 device and pay for it in small monthly installments as low as N7000 over a period of 3-12 months. Additionally, if you need a screen repair, it can be done at a low cost of N16,000.

The launch of the Galaxy A14 in Nigeria is a testament to Samsung’s commitment to providing innovative and affordable smartphones to consumers in the country. With its high-end features, including a triple-camera setup and a big battery, the device is set to be a game-changer in the budget smartphone segment. If you’re in the market for an affordable smartphone with great features, the Galaxy A14 is definitely worth considering.
