Samsung’s next-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, will be released later this year. We saw renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4 earlier this month, ahead of the formal announcement. According to recent reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s spec sheet will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Take a look at the details down below.
Specs for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Have Been Leaked
Yogesh Brar, a reputable tipster, recently took to Twitter to discuss some of the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The gadget will include a 6.2-inch HD+ cover display and a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED folding display, according to Brar. According to reports, both displays will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, which would be a nice upgrade for potential customers.
Apart from that, Brar claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 would be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, which was previously tipped by Ice Universe. The chipset is a variation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC that delivers a 10% increase in CPU speed and a 30% increase in power efficiency. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 plus processor was announced earlier than previous-generation plus chipsets, which normally arrive in late June or early July. So, let’s have a look at the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
According to the informant, the tablet would have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, Samsung may include its latest UFS 4.0 technology into its next foldable to provide faster read and write capabilities. We wouldn’t bet on it, though!
A 50MP + 12MP ultra-wide + 12MP (3x) rear camera combination is suggested by other data regarding the smartphone. According to previous speculations, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have Samsung’s “strongest 3x camera ever.” The smartphone is also said to have a 16MP under-display camera beneath the inner, foldable display and a 10MP selfie shooter on the cover display, both of which are contained inside a top-center punch-hole.
There is a variation between the camera arrangement and that of the Galaxy S22+. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to have a 12MP lens with 3x zoom capability instead of the S2210MP +’s telephoto lens.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will also have a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities. It will run One UI 4.0, which is based on Android 12.
It’s important to note that Samsung has yet to confirm or tease any of the aforementioned facts. So take it with a grain of salt and hold off until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 in the coming months.
