There are plenty rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S8, thanks to SamMobile. The site has exclusively confirmed that the Galaxy S8 will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. Which mean users will instead need to use a USB C adaptor, just like the iPhone 7? This also means you won’t be able to plug in and charge while using your wired headphone. Guess we all need to get ready and accept the change because the two top phone manufacturers are really doing this and moving forward.
Another exclusive report claims the Galaxy S8 will retain its 2k resolution. But will feature an enhanced high-contrast OLED display, which Apple is rumoured to be using for its upcoming phone?
The Galaxy S8 will also feature an all-screen front without bezels and entirely ditch its traditional home button in favour of a virtual button embedded on the front screen.
The S8 line-up will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Samsung Exynos processors and will feature a new virtual assistant courtesy of Viv Labs.
The report stated that due to high manufacturing costs, Samsung may scrap plans for a dual camera on the S8.
Also, a new rumour claims the next Samsung Galaxy S8 version could include a 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch screen sizes.
We expect to see the unveiling of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February next year.
