Samsung is working on yet another Olympic edition of its flagship device for this years’ Olympic Games in Rio. Well, the Korea-based company is known for its special edition flagship phones. For instance, this year, a Batman edition of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was unveiled, in 2015, it made the Iron Man edition for its Samsung Galaxy S6 and it also made a limited edition of the Samsung Galaxy S III to celebrate the Olympic Games in London back in 2012. So it’s kind of no surprise that the Korea-based company has plans to release a Special Edition S7 Edge this year.
According to sources, the device is currently under development and along with Olympic apps to provide users with some Olympic VR content. Popular leaker @evleaks, posted a photo of the device and from the design we get to see the Olympic symbols stamped on the rear and appearing as a splash screen message on the phone’s screen. The phone’s buttons, cameras, and flash have been outlined with blue and yellow colours but that’s all we got for now. With the Olympics coming this Aug 5, we might get to know more or probably see this device soon even though there is no release date for it just yet but hopefully, we should hear from Samsung soon.
