Cape Town-based gaming tech startup Skrmiish has launched an innovative and competitive gaming app based on the BTC blockchain to monetise wins for users. Within this platform, the tech startup has developed its patented Layer-2 Bitcoin cryptocurrency digital wallet held in with and adhering to FCA regulated CoinMode.

The cutting-edge payment solution has been developed and tailored to the gaming industry by the tech startup. According to reports, the payment system enables ‘real-time high frequency with low latency, and facilitates lightning-fast and low-cost transactions, allowing multi-directional instant payments at 10,000 transactions per second.

First off, you probably want to know what Skrmiish is all about. Well, in short, it is an app-driven platform that allows online gamers, brands, teams, the community, and streamers to “create and monetise their own competitive experiences anytime, anywhere”.

The Skrmiish app aims to give gamers of all levels and skillsets a competitive, safe, engaging and fun environment. You can compete on your own terms, choose your own stakes, and much more. Results are also automated via the app.

You can actually try it out right now by following the simple steps below.

    • Download the app on Google PlayStore or Apple App store.
    • Register with Skrmiish
    • Verify and download the PC desktop client
    • Sync your device

In a press statement, Skrmiish provides insight into the launch of the competitive platform integrating blockchain.

“Skrmiish is the world’s first app that allows any user to compete and monetise their experience on the blockchain. Currently, in week 10 of global beta testing, Skrmiish has had over 20,000 downloads, with over a million in in-app currency wagered. Once the crypto-based digital wallet is introduced to the app in November 2021, it will unleash the full global commercial potential of the tech.“
