Less than 2 a fortnight ago South-AFrican regtech startup Intergreatme set out on a crowdfunding mission, aiming at raising USD 1.7 million. The startup has met it’s goal and then some, raising USD 2 million in just six days since they opened crowdfunding on Uprise.Africa.

Intergreatme is a mobile and web platform that promises to revolutionize the on-boarding process for businesses, and digitizes the personal credit information of over 25 million South Africans.

The startup availed 20% of its shares in order to raise USD 1.7 million.

By Tuesday, the 21st of May, USD 2 million had been raised from 169 investors.

Uprise.Africa is a fundraising platform that allows South African nationals to invest between USD 70 to USD 348,000 in active campaigns.

Intergreatme’s campaign is still open 53 days. However, the company set a limit to the amount of equity they are willing float in addition to the initial 20%. The company would in that case seek to raise an additional 500,000 in exchange for 5% equity. At the phenomenal rate investors are buying in this limit is soon to be achieved.
