South African sales tech company, Skynamo, has raised a 30 million dollar series A round from Five Elms Capital.
Skynamo will channel the funds towards accelerating the adoption of its field sales app, and its cloud-based management platform.
The firm plans to scale its operations in Southern Africa, and into the US & UK.
Skynamo CEO, Sam Clarke said, “Field sales reps have been left out in the cold by the technology industry for far too long.”
He added, “By putting all time-saving functionality and accurate information in the palm of their hands via our mobile app, Skynamo transforms sales teams from order-takers to value-adding consultants to their customers.”
Skynamo operates out of South Africa and London. It’s US operations will be headquartered in Atlanta.
What does Skynamo do?
Skynamo digitizes paper-based processes, automates administrative tasks and enables easier access to customer and product information in the field.
Skynamo’s platform leverages GPS technology to provide managers with a real-time view of their sales rep activities in the field, in order to facilitate remote coaching.
