Rocket Internet today announced it is launching a new startup called Everjobs for frontier markets in Asia and Africa.
The new venture seeks to digitalize and simplify the job market, beginning with Sri Lanka today and plans are already in place for rapid expansion across Asia and Africa continents.
Rocket Internet in a statement said Everjobs’ mission is to simplify the job search and hiring process by connecting job seekers with employers in a matter of clicks. The Everjobs site offers helpful tools and intuitive features, such as a CV creation tool, easy site navigation, search filters, and career tips.
Co-Founder Ronald Schuurs said, “We see an immense opportunity to create a convenient job portal for economies on the rise in Asia and Africa. Everjobs challenges the status quo in these countries for job seekers as well as employers. We believe that every individual has a unique set of skills and personality. All it takes is the right match for them to flourish.”
