RMB Ventures has announced the appointment of Amina Pahad as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2026. She takes over from Andrew Aitken, who will continue to play a key leadership role within the organization as a senior partner.

Pahad brings more than two decades of investment and leadership experience to the position. Since joining RMB in 2005, she has been instrumental in originating, structuring, and managing a wide range of transactions across multiple sectors. Her career at RMB Ventures has been marked by a strong track record of building relationships with high‑potential companies and helping them unlock sustainable growth.

Reflecting on her new role, Pahad said:

My passion lies in identifying exceptional South African businesses—many of which operate under the radar—and partnering with their management teams to support their growth ambitions. By applying fresh thinking and drawing on the diverse skills within our team, we are able to unlock new opportunities, accelerate expansion, and help businesses scale to the next level.

Her appointment marks a significant leadership transition for RMB Ventures as it positions itself for continued growth in South Africa’s evolving private equity landscape.
