Estonian ride-hailing firm, Bolt, formerly Taxify, now allows users to add multiple stops on a journey.

The new feature, parallels a similar one Uber has had for close to 2 years now.

Bolt users will tap the plus sign on the address box and add any number upto 3 stops on the way to their final destination.

While riders will not be required to pay any extra costs to add the stops, they will be billed by the minute throughout the remainder of the journey.

Bolt Kenya Country manager, Ola Akinnusi, said, “We continue to offer quality services that suits the needs of our esteemed customers.”

Akinnusi added, “We are excited to make travel easier and convenient to our customers.”

Bolt recently took on a 50 million dollar loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to pump into research and development, to improve its product offering.

The ride-hailing firm will also channel some of the funds into future products in the personalised mobility services like food delivery.

Bolt is also set to launch its own food delivery service in Nairobi after unveiling a similar venture in Europe in August last year.

Bolt is also laying out plans to enter into the lucrative mass transport business.
