Every social media platform has a way of sharing each other’s content — images, videos, memes, and more. But Instagram is an exception. You can only tag or mention people while commenting for them to see a piece of content that was posted, but there is no way you can share so it shows up the post on your own feed and everyone can see it.
Though Instagram has no feature that allows users to repost content, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible. And so, in this article, we will demonstrate a straightforward method of reposting pictures or videos, togetherwith their captions.
However, it’s important to note that you first need to obtain permission from the owner of the original content before reposting.
Repost Using Apps
There are several apps you can use to repost content on Instagram. However in this article we recommend the Regrann app because it is very easy to use and also effective. Other apps you use include Regram Posts – Repost for Instagram, Photo and Video Downloader for Instagram – Repost IG, InstaRepost, etc. which you can download on Play Store or App store. Follow the simple steps below after you have downloaded the Regrann app on your device.
Step 1: Tap the ‘three dots’ at the top right of the content you wish to share.
Step 2: You will be presented with four options (it’s more when you reposting your own content). Select “Share to…” and choose “Regrann app”.
Step 3: You’re redirected to the Regrann app where you will select how you want to repost – feed, stories, and so on. You can choose “Feed” if you’d like the Image/Video and Caption to be shared.
Step 4: Regrann gives you the ability to resize the Image/Video. Next, click the arrow at the top right corner.
Step 5: Long press on the “Write a caption” to paste the caption of the original content or write your own. Next, click the post icon.
