Registration is on for the ‘Facebook for Creators’ training Programme in Nigeria.
The Programme which is aimed at developing creative skills in Nigeria is a product of a collaboration between Facebook and Afrinolly; an entertainment mobile app.
The Afrinolly Creative Hub located in the heart of Nigeria’s commercial city Lagos, was opened for filmmakers, screenwriters, mobile technology developers, animators and other creatives. Essentially the hub functions as “Where Technology Meets Art”
Afrinolly wants to use technology to organize Nollywood; institutionalize global best practices and Integrate Digital Filmmakers/Next Generation Filmmakers.
The specially curated Programme seeks to train thousands of young creative entrepreneurs – from journalism students and bloggers, through to artists, photographers, actors, filmmakers, comedians and social media influencers, on how to maximize Facebook for storytelling, content gathering and more.
For interested candidates in Lagos, Jos, Kaduna, Abuja, or Kano you will be able to attend this training in your city.
Register here and you will receive an email two weeks before the training date of your selected location asking you to confirm your spot.
As part of benefits, participants will learn how to leverage Facebook products to showcase their work, increase awareness and engage audiences online. Also participants will learn how to establish their brands and make their videos stand out.
The Facebook for Creators Training Programme is absolutely FREE for all participants in all locations.
Training is a day’s event. Starting from 10:00am-4:00pm with breaks in between.
