The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) through the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE) is hosting the ninth (9th) Edition of StartUP Friday Program.

This edition will take place in the Emerald Event Center – 119 Edet Akpan Avenue (4 Lanes), Uyo on Friday, 9th March, 2018 at 8:30am.

The StartUP Friday is a program of the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE), a subsidiary under NITDA.

StartUP Friday is a “meet-up” designed to bridge the gap that exist among startups, investors, mentors, buyers and other players in the Nigerian ICT ecosystem.

Eight (8) editions of the program had been hosted in February, March, April, July, September 2016 and March, August, December 2017.

The program which has a pitching session accompanied by funding for the best selected startups aims at providing support for startups to thrive. The support includes advisory services and early stage funding. It is also an avenue for start-ups who are struggling in one way or the other, to get assistance from the OIIE for their business.

Those that have commercially viable products will get the chance to meet with potential customers within and outside government who would listen to them, talk to them, invest in them or buy their products.

Registration is currently on and free. Click Next to commence registration.
