I got an email from LinkedIn saying it reached a new milestone at the end of December 2012. You can see from the infographic that no African country is among the top 6 country where members live. Lost of the members reside in United States of America.
LinkedIn is a social networking website for people in professional occupations. Founded in December 2002 and launched on May 5, 2003, it is mainly used for professional networking.
The company was founded by Reid Hoffman and founding team members from PayPal and Socialnet.com (Allen Blue, Eric Ly, Jean-Luc Vaillant, Lee Hower, Konstantin Guericke, Stephen Beitzel, David Eves, Ian McNish, Yan Pujante, and Chris Saccheri). Reid is now the Chairman of the Board while the current CEO is Jeff Weiner.
