As a very religious country, we all know the knack of Nigerian pastors for predicting the outcome of major international events. While some of these prophecies come true, others have gone over the goal post which has no doubt questioned the authenticity of these prophecies.
A Nigerian pastor who thrives on releasing alarming prophecies is Prophet T.B. Joshua, the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of God. Amongst his prophesies are the death of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and Malawian President Peter Mutharika.
More recently, on November 6, T.B Joshua predicted that Hillary Clinton will be the next Potus. But, fast forward to today, Donald Trump has been elected the 45th president of America.

Meanwhile, Nigerians haven’t spared Nobel Laurette, Wole Soyinka who said that he will cut up his green card if Donald Trump emerges as winner of the US presidential election. The green card is a permanent residence permit for the US – prized by many African immigrants to the US.
