Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus lineup for April 2025, featuring three diverse titles available to subscribers from April 1 through May 5. This month’s selection includes “RoboCop: Rogue City,” “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” and “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory,” offering a combined value exceeding £110. Over the years this has been myf avourite subscription.
The PS Plus subscription is a great way to get multiple games for a fixed fee. While you can’t choose what you get, Playstation makes a good job of trying to have games that cater to everyone.
RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5)
Step into the metallic shoes of the iconic cyborg law enforcer in “RoboCop: Rogue City.” Set in the crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit, players wield the powerful Auto-9 weapon and a variety of other armaments to deliver justice. The game features an original storyline that unfolds between the events of “RoboCop 2” and “RoboCop 3,” immersing players in a semi-open world filled with missions that test both combat prowess and investigative skills. Notably, Peter Weller reprises his role, lending his voice to the titular character, enhancing the authenticity of the experience. This title is exclusively available for PlayStation 5 users.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5)
Horror enthusiasts can delve into “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” an asymmetrical multiplayer game inspired by the seminal 1974 horror film. Players can choose to embody members of the notorious Slaughter family, hunting down victims to prevent their escape, or play as one of the victims, employing stealth and strategy to survive and flee the terrifying homestead. The game captures the chilling atmosphere of the original movie, offering a tense and immersive experience.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4)
Embark on a digital adventure in “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory.” Players assume the role of Keisuke Amazawa, a young man accused of a crime he didn’t commit, who ventures into the digital world to clear his name. The game combines elements of adventure, monster raising, and turn-based battles, featuring over 320 Digimon to collect and train. These titles are available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers across the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers. The subscription service starts at £6.99 per month for the Essential tier, providing access to monthly games, exclusive discounts, and online multiplayer features. Subscribers have until March 31 to download March’s offerings, which include “Dragon Age: The Veilguard,” “Sonic Colors: Ultimate,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.”
